Amazing details
What a scene for HDR. You have so much detail here, which was hidden in the normal photo, and such a huge difference between dark and light areas. I took this one at the Chateau Lednice in Czech republic.

Winter is here, but instead of snow, we have rain in Bratislava. And on top of that, I’m a little sick. So I’m not really in the mood to go out and take new shots. So instead I’m editing photos from summer, so at least in memories there is still nice weather :).
In this photo, the Chateau Mikulov in Czech Republic
and a little different view, which I posted a while ago
I’m really happy with the composition on this one. It took me 6 tries to get the whole chateau and the whole reflection into one shot. There were just 1-2 pixels between the top of the tower and the end of the photo. I had to add a little bit to the top and bottom, and fill it using content aware, so it’s not completely at the border.
I’m not 100% happy with other parts of this photo, as I could really do with a little more brackets, especially few brighter ones. The difference between the brightly lit chateau and the surroundings was just too much for only three shots. Maybe next time π
In this photo the Chateau in Valtice in Czech Republic. The bottom part is the reflection in the fountain in front of it. It was turned off in the evening, so it was almost like a perfect mirror.
Yesterday I edited around 10 different HDR’s and didn’t like a single result, so in the end I selected this one. I think everyone knows this days, when you just can’t get the results you really want.
This is one of the shots I took at he park near the Chateau in Lednice, Czech Republic.
And few other photos from the park:
Sometimes the reflections are just perfect, you could even be fooled to think that they are the real thing π This one was taken at the park near the Chateau in Lednice. I wanted a shot also from the bridge, but it wasn’t accessible. Well, maybe next time π
I have already uploaded few photos from the park next to the chateau, so this time one also with the chateau :). It’s currently under reconstruction, so that’s why the scaffolding. But the park was very beautiful π
Here is my google+ profile, if any of you already have it, feel free to add me :). It looks that it will be a very interesting place to share photos and other stuff π
This was a great week on Flickr. First the photo Letting off steam, then Tension and now also Reflected Fireworks got into Explore selection. They reached positions 383, 161 and the last one 47 :). Thank you very much to everyone who viewed my photos there, commented on them and added them to favorites π Without you I would never got into Explore π
I really like cinemagraphs. That’s why I will try to create more of them π Since until now I only took three different videos, I don’t really have much to choose from π (my camera has no video mode). So here is another one, also taken at the Rendez gathering last Sunday.
I have tried different versions of this one, a B&W and a one where they booth moved their heads. But that was too much. I like when the movement is not so dominant, moreΒ subtle. So I also added longer times between the animations, so sometimes there is no movement at all.
I have also found this very nice blog which specializes only in cinemagraphs. Definetly worth a visit. It can be found on this address http://www.cinemagra.ph/
This is one of the photos I took in the park by the Chateau in Lednice. The weather was beautiful, there was no wind, perfect conditions for taking HDR photos π
