Glass domes

Glass domes

The palm house in Lednice looks quite interesting. Something a little like from a sci-fi movie 🙂

Space Elevator

Space Elevator

This really reminds me of a sci-fi movie. But it still fits quite nicely into the Prague Old town hall. It’s a great combination of old and new.

Amazing details

Amazing details

What a scene for HDR. You have so much detail here, which was hidden in the normal photo, and such a huge difference between dark and light areas. I took this one at the Chateau Lednice in Czech republic.

The Meeting

The Meeting

It really wasn’t one, but from the look of the photo, it almost looks like the guy is walking towards the car. But in reality, the guy on the left only passed by, and the guy on the right stopped his car in front of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra building, to take few photos of it 🙂 Probably he wanted to have a nice background.

Another bridge in Prague

Another bridge in Prague

There are really a lot of bridges in Prague, so always when I’m there, I try to take a shot from under at least one of them. This time it’s the Jirásek Bridge (Jiráskův most).

Towering

Towering

This was a very nice scene, and I wanted to take so many photos :). But my friend from Prague, who was in the city with me, refused to wait a minute more. But I wasn’t so surprised, because it was quite cold, and I already had him wait for around an hour 🙂

From inside the Church of St. James

From inside the Church of St. James

A little different view on the altar in the Church of St. James in Brno. This photo was actually taken behind it 🙂

Sunny day in Mikulov

Sunny day in Mikulov

Winter is here, but instead of snow, we have rain in Bratislava. And on top of that, I’m a little sick. So I’m not really in the mood to go out and take new shots. So instead I’m editing photos from summer, so at least in memories there is still nice weather :).

In this photo, the Chateau Mikulov in Czech Republic

and a little different view, which I posted a while ago

Sunset over MikulovThe first time I was at Mikulov, I saw, that there is a very nicely situated hill right next to the city. So the second time, I went there, I went directly to this hill and waited for the sunset. And this is what I got :)HDR from 7 shots, taken with Canon 7D with Sigma 18-200mm lens, from a tripod.

Ventilation tower

Ventilation tower

This was a great scene to be shot in HDR. The bottom part of the tower was heavily lit from all the surrounding light, with the top part almost completely dark. HDR process worked great here 🙂
